Instapaper is really simple and really cool.

If you’re not already using it, I recommend checking it out. I dragged the bookmarklet to my browser bookmarks bar, and this is how I’ve been using it:

Whenever I come across something interesting to read during the day when I’m meant to be working, I hit the instapaper button and close the browser tab.
When I go to the gym, I take my iPhone and catch up on all those pages I saved for later while doing cardio.

This is great becuase it means I get distracted less during the day, and I don’t fear losing track of something cool I came across. Plus, I have something to distract me at the gym, where I actually desire distraction.

Instapaper is also optimized for the iPhone, so it can load text-only versions of those pages so you can read them quickly with minimal scrolling.

Bonus tip! -> Bookmarklets work great on Mobile Safari. Use this handy bookmarklet that Jacob made, and whatever you’re reading will auto-scroll while you run or elipitcal machine or whatever. Handy!

Seriously, this invention is genius.

I hope the person who invented it gets a penny everytime I go to Taco Bell and is sipping midori sours in his beachhouse in Malibu right now. He deserves it.
